kasahorow Commits to Five Years of Support for Each Language

kasahorow recently agreed to provide five years of support for each of its language dictionaries on their journey to becoming self-sustaining. This support will be provided through a discounting method, allowing the language to work towards becoming financially independent after five years. Being financially independent means that the language development is self-funded by selling dictionaries. The endowment funding will continue to fund new languages.

Product managers will collaborate with language managers to set dictionary prices and decide which dictionary types should be promoted.

The change will be implemented from 25 March 2022. By having clear checkpoints, we will also be able to monitor and provide support to languages and language managers where needed.
